Hyundai Offers Free Charger or Credit with Ioniq 5 N in the USA
Hyundai is providing buyers of its all-electric 2025 Ioniq 5 N with a choice between a complimentary ChargePoint wallbox or a $450 charging credit. The offer applies to both buyers and lessees of the Ioniq 5 N.
Customers can select either a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger or opt for the $450 charging credit, which can be used not only on ChargePoint's network but also with other compatible chargers via the ChargePoint app. Hyundai will also assist with the installation of the wallbox for those who choose that option.
The offer remains valid for up to 90 days after the purchase or lease. Additionally, those who acquired the vehicle before the promotion began are still eligible. Hyundai specifies that those who purchased or leased the Ioniq 5 N before July 16, 2024, must redeem their offer by October 14, 2024, and complete hardwired installation through Hyundai Home by January 12, 2025.
Olabisi Boyle, Hyundai Motor North America's senior vice president of product planning and mobility strategy, commented on the initiative: "Switching to a high-performance EV is a significant decision for enthusiasts. These two complimentary offers are designed to make the transition easier. The Ioniq 5 N redefines all-electric performance, and offering free home charging or charging credits aligns with our commitment to supporting customers on their journey to electrification."
