Volvo EVs will be able to utilize 17,800 Tesla Supercharger stations across the United States and Canada

Polestar and Volvo electric vehicles now have access to Tesla's expansive Supercharger network as the North American shift toward electrification advances. Volvo has unlocked over 17,800 Tesla Supercharger stations across the U.S. and Canada, including for models like the new EX90 flagship SUV.
Tesla's NACS adapters for Volvo vehicles are currently available for order at Volvo Cars retailers in the U.S. and Canada, priced at $230 USD or $310 CAD. Volvo retailers are expected to have the adapters by November 18, 2024. Owners of the fully electric 2025 Volvo models, such as the EX40, will be able to use the adapters immediately, while availability for other models like the EX30 will be announced later. Volvo drivers can access the Supercharger network and manage charging sessions through the Volvo Cars app or built-in Google Maps, allowing for real-time updates and a unified payment method.
Polestar is also offering access to Tesla Superchargers, enabling models such as the Polestar 2 sedan, Polestar 3 crossover, and the upcoming Polestar 4 to charge using Tesla's network. Existing Polestar owners can order a NACS adapter from local Polestar Service Points, with deliveries expected by mid-November.
"As part of our electrification journey, we aim to make EV ownership, including that of our EX90, as convenient as possible," stated Mike Cottone, President of Volvo Car USA and Canada, emphasizing the significance of this expansion for both Volvo and Polestar drivers in North America.
