DKV Mobility Integrates Charging Points From UK Provider Gridserve
DKV Mobility, a provider of fuel and charging solutions focused on fleet customers, is expanding its charging network by incorporating stations from UK provider Gridserve. This partnership adds more than 1,500 fast-charging points across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland to DKV's roaming network, which now connects to Gridserve's 'Electric Highway' infrastructure. These charging points, accessible through the DKV Card +Charge or DKV Mobility App, offer charging speeds of up to 360 kW.

Gridserve's Electric Highway includes over 1,500 charging stations strategically located along major UK motorways, busy retail hubs, and at dedicated Electric Forecourts. Many stations feature 350kW chargers, enabling EVs to gain up to 160 kilometers of range in under 10 minutes. Gridserve also has future plans to introduce a charging network specifically for electric trucks-a development of particular interest to DKV, given its strong base of truck drivers who frequently use DKV fuel cards.
Sven Mehringer, Managing Director of Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility, highlighted the environmental benefits of this collaboration, noting that Gridserve's chargers are powered entirely by renewable solar energy. This aligns with DKV's goal of promoting sustainable mobility and offering innovative eMobility solutions.
Sam Clarke, Commercial Lead at Gridserve, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "By collaborating with DKV Mobility, we enable business clients to access our network conveniently with their preferred payment methods. Our mission is to drive sustainable energy solutions that contribute to climate action, and with strong partners, we can further accelerate the transition to zero-emission transport."
The Gridserve partnership will expand DKV Mobility's European roaming network to approximately 827,000 charging points. Recent additions include 1,300 points from Edeka and 550 from Iberdrola | bp pulse in Spain. Beyond public charging, DKV Mobility also supports charging solutions for corporate sites (@work) and home charging options (@home) for company car users.
