NIO Records Strong Vehicle Deliveries in June 2024
Shanghai (Gasgoo) – NIO, a leading name in China's high-end smart electric vehicle sector, reported significant growth in June 2024. The company successfully delivered 21,209 vehicles, reflecting a notable 98.1% increase from the same month last year. The total includes 11,581 premium smart electric SUVs and 9,628 premium smart electric sedans.
The second quarter of 2024 was equally impressive for NIO, with 57,373 vehicles delivered, a 143.9% year-over-year rise.
By the end of June 2024, NIO had reached cumulative deliveries of 537,020 vehicles.
In June, NIO made significant strides in its energy infrastructure and international expansion. On June 13, NIO launched its fourth-generation power swap stations, capable of supporting multiple brands and models for automatic battery swaps. Additionally, on June 24, NIO and FAW Group's premium brand, Hongqi, announced a collaboration to integrate their charging networks, marking the first initiative under their strategic partnership to enhance service convenience for users.
In the overseas market, on June 13, NIO introduced the EL8 model (known as ES8 in China) to Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark. This marks NIO's sixth model entry into the European market.
