LCP Group, a UK-based commercial property firm, has expanded its partnership with PoGo Charge to enhance its ultra-rapid DC charging network. The new agreement involves installing high-speed charging points at 52 retail sites across the UK, building on their existing contract from last November.
This latest phase of the deal adds 254 ultra-rapid DC chargers to the 252 already installed under the initial agreement. The first charging site to go live features eight PoGo Touch Plus Ultra-Rapid DC chargers at Washington Retail Park. According to PoGo, these chargers offer power ranging from 50 to 600 kW, making them the fastest available in the UK.

Originally, the November 2023 agreement covered the installation of 658 DC chargers. With the new phase, PoGo Charge will provide over 900 charging points at LCP's retail parks throughout England, Scotland, and Wales.
Stuart Douglas, Managing Director of PoGo Charge, highlighted that the swift follow-up agreement reflects LCP's confidence in the reliability of their technology and ongoing projects. He emphasized their shared commitment to deploying effective infrastructure to support the transition to electric vehicles.
In addition, PoGo Charge is working with Kew Green Hotels on a separate project to install 40 charging hubs at various hotel brands, including Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, voco, and Courtyard by Marriott.
