Electrify America and 4 Gen Logistics have launched a new charging hub in Rialto, California, aimed at powering 4 Gen's growing fleet of zero-emission Class 8 trucks. The facility includes 14 Hyper-Fast chargers capable of delivering up to 350 kW of power. This hub is part of a larger effort to cut tailpipe emissions in Southern California, particularly around the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. In the first phase, 44 chargers will be installed between the Rialto location and the Port of Long Beach.

The project is partially funded by Electrify America's $25 million 'Green City' initiative, which supports medium- and heavy-duty vehicle electrification in areas like Long Beach and the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Recently, 4 Gen Logistics committed to advancing sustainable goods transportation across the U.S., including through the purchase of electric trucks. This effort began in 2022, with the acquisition of 41 VNR Electric trucks from Volvo Trucks.
