The newly added chargers are distributed across 42 properties, including commercial sites like the Esplanade and various condominiums. With this expansion, Charge+ now holds the title of the largest EV charging operator in Singapore, positioning itself to meet the country's 2023 EV Charging Act requirements.

Goh Chee Kiong, CEO of Charge+, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, saying, "We're thrilled to extend our charging services to more properties while maintaining the high quality and performance standards outlined by the EV Charging Act."

Lindy Lee, Director at Quickcharge, shared her thoughts on the deal: "Quickcharge began as a comprehensive EV charging solutions provider, and with our decision to focus more on our charging offerings, we're happy to partner with Charge+. The transfer of our public charging stations will ensure continued reliable service for existing properties, and we look forward to collaborating on other initiatives in the EV ecosystem."

Charge+ is also focused on its regional expansion across Southeast Asia, with plans to operate 30,000 charging points by 2030. In addition to Singapore, Charge+ has operations in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Cambodia. The company recently raised $8 million (7.6 million euros) in a funding round to support its growth and the development of EV charging infrastructure throughout the region. Charge+ is also collaborating with Porsche to establish a high-power charging network in Vietnam.
