According to a post, an American electric vehicle manufacturer, Tesla added 48 supercharging stations and 198 superchargers in Chinese Mainland in July.
These new charging facilities are located in 33 cities (or counties). All of these are V3 models that can support peak power of up to 250KW per vehicle. The automaker said that so far it has launched more than 1200 supercharging stations and more than 700 destination stations in more than 370 cities and regions in Chinese Mainland, including more than 8900 superchargers and more than 1800 destination stations.
The company said that so far, Tesla has opened more than 35000 superchargers worldwide, repeating the previous data.
Tesla celebrated a milestone in mid August when its Gigafactory in Shanghai produced its 1 millionth car. The carmaker praised the Shanghai plant as one of the "most efficient" in its global production network.
At present, the Shanghai factory has an annual production capacity of 750000 vehicles and is Tesla's largest manufacturing plant in the world. More than 95% of the auto parts of Tesla cars made in Shanghai are purchased in China.
