Established over 50 years ago, Nic. Christiansen Group has an automobile dealership network throughout Denmark. By virtue of these facilities, the Danish company will offer national distribution, sales, and service supports and online resources to BYD's passenger vehicle customers in Denmark.

The first pioneering BYD store in Denmark will be open for business this autumn in Copenhagen, allowing local consumers to experience and test drive BYD's models.

BYD pointed out that a website of the Danish market will be launched in late August this year.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, BYD Europe is the first overseas branch of BYD group, committed to providing safe, efficient and sustainable solutions for new energy vehicles as an international brand.

BYD is accelerating the expansion of its electric passenger vehicle business outside China. Last week, the company held a brand meeting with RÊVER automotive, a dealer of new energy vehicles, to officially enter the passenger car market in Thailand.

In addition, BYD also claims that it will enter the photovoltaic market in Japan, Germany and Sweden this year.
