Brief Introduction
The vehicle coupler is composed of the vehicle connector, which is mounted at the end of a flexible cable, and the vehicle inlet, the counterpart of the connector, which is located within the vehicle.
The CCS2 inlet socket is extending the inlet with two additional DC contacts below the existing AC and it compatible with both Type 2 vehicle connectors and additional CCS2 vehicle connectors (EV charging plug).
The 125A EV CCS Charging Plug contains five contact pins: two small contacts and three large contacts. The top two small contacts for signals, the middle pin is used for grounding, and the bottom two pins are used for power supply.
