The following is an overview of our step-by-step production process that guarantees precision, durability, and safety for all of our GBT charging connectors.

Step 1: Cable Cutting

The first step involves cutting the cable to the specified length based on the detailed requirements of the drawing. This ensures that each charging plug matches the exact standards necessary for its intended application.

Step 2: Cable Storage

Once the cable is cut to the correct length, it is placed on the cable rack for backup. This preparation step ensures that the cables are readily available for the next stage of assembly, streamlining the workflow.

Step 3: Waterproof Ring Installation

The waterproof ring is installed onto the conductive terminal of the EV charging connector. This step is critical for ensuring that the final product is resistant to environmental factors, such as moisture, which can affect the integrity of the charging plug.

Step 4: Laser Printing

According to the drawing specifications, we use laser printing technology to engrave text, patterns, barcodes, and other required information directly onto the charging connector casing. This step ensures proper labeling and identification, which is essential for traceability and regulatory compliance.

Step 5: Cable Length Verification and Stripping

Before proceeding further, we double-check that the cable length meets the exact specifications from the drawing. If the cable length is correct, it is inserted into a stripping machine, which removes the outer shell. If the cable length is incorrect, it is placed in a non-conforming product box and does not continue through the production process.

Step 6: Conductor Waterproof Ring and Crimping

In this stage, the operator verifies that the car charger connector conductor waterproof ring is installed correctly. The stripped cable is then placed into the crimping machine along with the conductor and heat shrink tubing. The machine securely crimps the cable and conductor together. Products that pass this stage are placed in an operation box for the next step, while any terminals that do not meet the standards are set aside in the unqualified product box.

Step 7: Heat Shrinking

Once all terminals are crimped, a hot air blower is used to fix the heat shrink tubing at the crimping point. This ensures secure insulation of the electrical connections, preventing any future issues related to exposure or conductivity failures.

Step 8: Charging Plug Casing Assembly

At this stage, the operator ensures that the crimping and previous steps were completed correctly. After verifying that there are no defects in the charging plug casing, it is assembled according to the specifications. If any defects are found in the casing, the product is set aside in the non-conforming product box to prevent it from proceeding further.

Step 9: Screw Verification and Mark Tube Application

The next step is to verify that all screws in the assembly are installed properly and securely. The heat shrink tubing is then applied to the tail of the cable and fixed using a hot air blower. Number tubes are applied to each cable individually, providing clear identification for future use. Any products with unqualified shell assembly are placed in the unqualified product box.

Step 10: Electrical Performance Testing

In the final stage, the operator checks that the heat shrink tubing and number tubing have been correctly applied. The product then undergoes comprehensive conductivity and electrical performance testing to ensure that it meets all safety and performance standards. If any issues are found, such as missing number tubes or poor electrical performance, the product is placed in the non-conforming product box.
