Specifically designed for the North American and Japanese markets, the J1772 CCS TYPE 1 Socket (EV inlet) are integrated AC and CCS (Combined Charging System) DC with multiple charging options. This J1772 CCS1 Electric Vehicle Fast Charging EV Inlet is ergonomic and easy to plug. It has the function of preventing misinsertion recognition and the design of preventing direct touch by hands. It is anti loose, automatically rotates and gets stuck during connection, and the connecting part cannot fall off during charging.

SAE J1772 also known as a J plug. It covers the general physical, electrical, communication protocol, and performance requirements for the electric vehicle conductive charge system and coupler. Type 1 plug and socket (inlet) is design for AC charging only. For DC charging, it is use Combined Charging System (CCS) which add two additional pins for DC current conduct. The CCS Type1 equal to CCS1, they are just different description.
