Love's Travel Stops Expanding EV Charging Network Nationwide

Love's Travel Stops has announced its plans to roll out electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at its rest stops across the U.S., utilizing funding from the NEVI grant.
Recently, the company installed its first EV charging stations at locations in Ripley and Waterloo, New York, where each site now features two dual-port 160 kW Level 3 DC fast chargers. Additionally, AC chargers are available at various Love's locations.
This year, construction will begin on four new NEVI-funded charging stations in Pennsylvania, with four more planned for Kentucky. Love's also confirmed that all new Travel Stops will be designed to include space for EV chargers, enabling partnerships with local utility companies to meet customer demand quickly.
Currently, Love's operates over 100 EV charging stations at 28 stores in 11 states. By 2025, the company plans to expand its charging network significantly, adding new stations in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

"We've been involved in EV charging since 2017, and with more than 100 chargers now in place across 11 states, our future investments reflect our commitment to meeting the needs of all our customers, no matter their fuel preference."
