Kempower Delivers Fast Chargers to Hyderabad's Public Charging Hub

Finnish EV charging technology provider Kempower has delivered fast-charging solutions to a new public charging hub in Hyderabad, India. The facility, operated by Glida, spans 3,700 square meters and is located in Shamshabad near Hyderabad airport.
Kempower's charging solutions at the Hyderabad hub can accommodate 102 electric vehicles simultaneously, though it is assumed these are primarily electric cars. This marks the third charging hub in India to feature Kempower's technology, with the other two located in Karnal, along the Chandigarh-Delhi Highway, and at the DLF Cyberpark in Gurugram.
The charging hub is equipped with Kempower's Satellite Charging System, which includes a Kempower Power Unit and the Kempower ChargeEye cloud-based management system. This advanced system helps optimize power distribution, allowing Glida to maximize the number of electric vehicles that can be charged simultaneously.
Kempower did not clarify whether this facility caters exclusively to electric cars or if it also accommodates electric two-wheelers or trucks.
Recently, Kempower also announced the development of a charging station in Sweden for DFDS, one of the largest charging depots for electric trucks in the country.
Glida, the charge point operator in Hyderabad, has Nordic roots. It was established by Fortum Charge and Drive, a Finnish operator, which launched Glida as its brand focused on charging point operations in India.
