Common faults and solutions of Electric Vehicle Charging Station
1. Charging module malfunction
Possible reason 1: The 485 communication line between the DC energy meter and the control board is loose.
Solution: Use a multimeter to check if there is any abnormal connection between the DC energy meter and the 485 communication line on the control board, and check if the communication indicator light on the DC meter is flashing.
Possible reason 2: Abnormal CAN communication of the charging module or inability to output due to module reasons.
Solution: Use a multimeter to check if there is any abnormal connection between the charging module and the CAN communication line of the control board. Open the right door to check if the charging module lights up the fault light or displays a fault code. If there is a fault, please contact the manufacturer or replace the charging module with the same model for testing and troubleshooting.
2. BMS communication failure
Possible reason 1: Abnormal BMS of electric vehicles.
Solution: Replace the vehicle and try again or unplug the charging gun and try again.
Possible reason 2: The vehicle did not receive the auxiliary power provided by the charging station.
Solution: Check if the Electric Vehicle Charging Station cable is properly plugged in, if the communication cable is loose, if the shielded wire is grounded, if the auxiliary power supply is the cause, and if the auxiliary power supply wiring is loose.
Possible reason 3: The charging cable is not properly connected or the communication cable is loose.
Solution: Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the charging gun cable connection.
Possible reason 4: The communication protocol between the charger and the electric vehicle does not match.
Solution: Capture communication messages and provide feedback to the manufacturer for on-site resolution.
3. The emergency stop button is pressed
Possible reason: The Electric Vehicle Charging Station was manually pressed the emergency stop button under normal circumstances, and the button has not been restored after being pressed.
Solution: Restore the button to normal.
4. Lightning arrester malfunction
Possible cause: The lightning arrester at the front end of the contactor has triggered an alarm.
Solution: 1. If the lightning arrester is not properly plugged in, press the lightning arrester inward with force. 2. Check the contact points of the lightning arrester installation. Check the glass window: "Green" indicates normal, "Red" indicates abnormal, replace the lightning arrester.
5. Display screen malfunction
Possible cause: Interruption of screen communication.
Solution: 1. The communication cable terminal of the screen is loose. 2. The control board crashes and needs to be powered off and restarted.
