What is the difference of various connectors?
A: For AC Charging:
Type 2 connectors: These connectors are the norm in Europe market, and many Asia market also use this standard. (Type2 sockets are found on Tesla Model S and Model X, Renault Zoe...)
Type 1 connectors: This type of connector is mainly found in North America and Canada. (Type1 sockets are found on Nissan Leafs...)
GB/T AC connectors: This type of connector is mainly found in China and it's near counties. (GB/T AC sockets are found on NIO ES6 and ES8, X-peng P7...)

For DC charging:
CCS connectors: This type of connector are designed for rapid DC charging. And CCS2 sockets are combined with both AC and DC charging.
CCS2 is mainly use in Europe market and CCS1 is mainly use in American market.
(CCS2 sockets are found on the Peugeot e-208, Porsche taycan...)
CHAdeMO connectors: This type of connector also for quick DC charging, It is mainly in Japan and Europe market. (CHAdeMO sockets are found on the Nissan Leaf electric cars, also can find it on older EVs like the Peugeot iOn, Citroen C-Zero, Kia Soul EV and the Hyundai Ioniq...)
GB/T DC connectors: This type of connector is design for fast charging too, and mainly found in China and it's near counties.
Tesla DC connectors: These connectors only can be find in Tesla cars, driver should charge the Tesla car on a Tesla charging station, or charge on a type1 / CHADEMO / CCS2 EVSE via Tesla adapter. With the EV business develop, Tesla also issued CCS2 standard car for EU market.
